Morey &
Hurford is the pre-eminent commercial construction company
in central Victoria. From our head office in Bendigo, we service
clients right across regional Victoria, from Warrnambool and
Geelong to Ballarat, Shepparton and Albury.
In addition to major commercial construction works,
we have an excellent reputation for heritage restoration and
many of Bendigo’s famous historical buildings have benefited
from our quality craftsmanship.
Since the company’s inception in 1991 by founding partners
Chris Morey and Terry Hurford, Morey & Hurford has grown
into a major success story. Starting with just 6 employees
and a turnover of $600,000, at the start of 2008 Morey &
Hurford employed some 40 staff and turned over some $30 million
annually from operations throughout central Victoria.
In 2008, Morey & Hurford became a part of the Tasmanian-based
Fairbrother Group, a major construction, joinery, facilities
management, developments, conditioned air, heating, refrigeration
and mechanical services Group, with annual revenue in excess
of $100 million. As a part of the Fairbrother Group, Morey
& Hurford now benefits from an enhanced knowledge and
experience base and strong commitment to expanding Morey &
Hurford's operations in Victoria.
Morey & Hurford is a multi-award winning company that
is committed to retaining its significant reputation in the
industry and to providing first class construction on time
and within budget for every client. We are proud to have been
the Master Builders Association’s Regional Commercial
Builder of the Year in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006. For our
