Construction of a single level brick veneer nursing home |

This project involved construction of a single storey brick veneer building that would accommodate 60 full time residents. The design consists of a central core comprising Nurse Station and Administration areas, radiating out to four accommodation wings (15 residents per wing) and a separate wing for Laundry, Kitchen, Staff Amenities and Storage.
The resident's facilities incorporate individual bedrooms and ensuites comprising showers, toilets, vanity basins, wardrobes, nurse call / paging system and full air conditioning.
The central feature to each wing is a landscaped Light Court to enhance the ambience of the facility. Lawn and landscaped external areas provide a tranquil outlook for each of the residents. |
